According to an article on Japan Today, the Yosakoi festival "originated in the city of Kochi in 1954 and, is a modern version of the traditional "awa odori" summer dance." The dance has changed over time by adapting to new ideas of the modern generation with dancers wearing bright colored costumes with unique designs and hairstyles. Atomic power engineering discussed today at meeting of Alexander Lukashenko with IAEA Head.

It was referred not only to the beginning of realization of the project on building of Belarusian atomic power station. The Head of State does not exclude that in the future with assistance and support of IAEA and in appropriate circumstances the second atomic power stationcan be constructed in the country. (Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus) In turn Yukio Amano has stated that Belarus is a very important partner of IAEA and now the country assumes responsibilities of providing high-level security and transparency in construction of an atomic power station, and also developments of atomic power engineering.
